St. Louis, MS — 32-year-old Louise Dylan was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer late last year and underwent aggressive chemotherapy, which has managed to prolong her life by a few months. As her prognosis became grim, she and her family decided it was time to try emergency-use treatments to stave off the horrible disease.

After a string of unsuccessful treatments, both Louise and her husband Sam thought they would try one last thing: asking God for help.

“We were simply out of options,” said Sam Dylan, 36. “So we’d thought we’d try a supernatural intervention. And I guess you could say it worked.”

During a late-night prayer session, Louise and Sam prayed incessantly to God. And for hours, nothing. Not a peep from the almighty. Not even a tiny sign from above.

Two days passed, and Ms. Dylan was admitted to the hospital due to complications from her chemotherapy. And then, the answer came.

“That was it. I was in the hospital bed eating my corn pudding at lunch, and God appeared and said ‘no,'” continued Louise. “Nothing else. No reasons. Even God’s tone was somewhat calm. And then he just left. Didn’t even say goodbye.”

For his part, Sam was somewhat encouraged.

“Well, it’s disappointing that God’s not going to do anything here. But on the other hand, we did get a visit from a supernatural being, so that’s a plus.”
